The boys track team took 4th out of 15 teams at the St. Francis Knight relays on Friday night. It was their highest finish in the last 15 years at this meet. They were led by Charles Hilsenbeck, who took 1st in the 400m, second in the 200m, and anchored the 3rd place 4x400 relay team.
Brendan McClanahan ran a season best in the 800m to take 2nd (to the state champion from Ohio from last year). Grant Nieszala threw a career best in the shot of 47'10" to place second. This throw puts Grant as the top thrower in our region. Greg Lingle ran an amazing 25 second PR in the 3200 to finish 3rd with a 10:10. The 4x1600 relay team of Brendan McClanahan, Adam Audet, Greg Lingle and Michael Greeley took 2nd in an excellent time of 18:58. Great meet guys.
