SALINE HS: 0
The Bedford boys track team competed at the Regional meet Friday in Saline. Grant Nieszala finished as regional champion in both the shot and disc. He had a season best throw of 140'1" in the disc. Charles Hilsenbeck qualified for the state meet as well in 2 events. He ran great times in both the 400m (49.73) and 200m (22.22) to move on to the state finals. Brendan McClanahan also qualified for the state meet by running a personal best time of 1:55.54 in the 800. Other quality performances were turned in by Michael Greeley (1:59.18) in the 800 and long jump (19'10.5") and Brady Nowak (11.36) in the 100. The boys will compete at the state meet on 6/4 at Hudsonville HS in Grand Rapids, MI.
