Varsity Cross Country results from Jackson Invitational

Boys Results from Jackson Invitational:

The Bedford boys cross country team placed 12th out of 29 teams at the Jackson Invitational today, a meet featuring many of the top ten teams in the state. Junior Michael Greeley led the Mules, finishing 29th in 16:44. Sophomore Noah Scheffer ran a personal best time of 17:16, finishing 63rd overall, and junior Alex Zittleman finished 64th in a season best time of 17:18. Rounding out the scoring were sophomore Jake Reaume (97th) in a season best 17:45, and sophomore Seth Murphy (103rd) with a personal best of 17:51. Also running well was freshman Noah Bock, who had a personal best time of 18:03. 

On Friday, the Bedford JV cross country team placed 2nd out of 14 teams at the Jackson JV Invitational, finishing behind state power Saline. Top performers included Colin Chevalier, who finished 2nd overall in 17:56;Brendan Burns, who finished 7th overall in 18:16; and Nick Huss, who finished 22nd overall in a personal record time of 18:46. Many other runners ran the lifetime bests at the meet, including: Josh Hollinger, Patrick Dotson, Caden Bodine, Ben Kessler, Reece Thomas, Jeremy Zientek, and Lucas Jordan. 

The Kicking Mules will compete at the SEC Red Jamboree on Tuesday at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School and at the Clay Eagle Invitational in Oregon, Ohio, on Saturday.
