On Saturday the Mules competed in the regional championship at Lake Erie Metro Park. The top 3 teams from each race move on to the state finals and runners in the top 15 are all region. Isabella Johnson and Ally Betkey made the All Region Team.

The Girls team placed 3rd behind Saline (2nd), and Pioneer (1st), to qualify for the state finals next Saturday at MIS.

Top finishers for the girls included: Senior Isabella Johnson in 12th place making her a 4x all region runner, Freshman Ally Betkey in 14th place also all region, Junior Alyssa Dorn in 16th, Sophomore Madison Foster 19th, Senior Makayla Orner 21st, Freshman Sydney Dec 22nd, and Freshman Bekah Asselin 26th.

The girls ran a tough race in windy conditions on a spongy course that had been broken down from all the other races in the morning session. They fought past all of these obstacles and the competition to qualify for the state finals.
