Girls Varsity XC finish third in Region and advance to the State Meet

The girls cross country team braved the windy conditions Saturday afternoon to advance to the MHSAA State Finals this Friday November 6, 2020. The team finished in a solid 3rd place behind Ann Arbor Pioneer (1st) and Saline (2nd).
The top finishers for the lady mules were:
Madison Foster - 2nd place (All Region)
Lauren Sancrant - 15th place (All Region)
Ally Betkey - 18th place
Alyssa Dorn - 19th place
Madi Heinrichs - 25th place
Katelyn Dec - 27th place
Mya Orner - 29th place
The girls will compete at MIS this Friday in the first of 2 sessions for division 1 girls. Teams who finished 3rd at regionals will run in the 1st session along with all individual qualifiers. Teams who finished 1st or 2nd at regionals will run together in the 2nd session.
