The Bedford girls cross country team competed at the BGSU Mel Brodt High School Invitational on Saturday.  With only 9 runners available due to the holiday weekend the lady mules made an excellent showing.  With all divisions combined into the varsity race the runners totaled over 200 competitors from 30 teams. 

The division 1 teams were separated out and scored against each other, and Bedford finished 2nd behind champions Perrysburg.  The top 10 individuals all received medals.  Madison Foster finished 2nd, Lauren Sancrant 5th, Ally Betkey 7th, Mya Orner 12th, Emma Bushroe 50th, Izzy Loubser 52nd, Adelle Robinson 146th, Arianna Haaser 168th, and Janah Byrne 179th.  The weather was perfect on this morning and yield great early season times. 

The Lady Mules look to gather all the troupes as they are enter the first week of school, and buckle down for an exciting fall of racing!
