The Bedford Boys cross country team placed 14th out of 28 teams at the Jackson Invitational, a race that boasted 10 of the top 25 teams in the state.
Leading the way for Bedford was senior Brendan McClanahan, a medalist in 25th place in 16:38. Greg Lingle was 2nd for the Mules, posting a season-best 17:10. Michael Greeley crossed the line 3rd for Bedford and 89th overall . Sophomore Alex Zittleman and Freshman Jake Reaume rounded out the scoring with lifetime bests of 17:38.3 and 17:38.9 respectively. Also posting personal bests on the day were Noah Scheffer (17:54), Colin Chevalier (18:29), Steven Kraine (18:31), David Jordan (18:41), and John Kraine (19:43).
The Mules host the SEC Red Division Jamboree on Tuesday, September 29th. All senior runners from all teams will be honored on that day.
