Boys Varsity Cross Country do very well in Clay Invitational

The Bedford boys cross country team was Runner-up out of 16 teams in the Clay Eagle Invitational today, 10/3, finishing behind Columbus-area Liberty Olentangy on a rainy, windy day. Finishing 2nd overall and first for the Mules was senior Brendan McClanahan in 16:46. Senior Greg Lingle was 8th overall and 2nd for the Mules in a season-best 17:04, with sophomore Michael Greeley hot on his heels in 9th (17:06). Sophomore Alex Zittleman (24th) and freshman Jake Reaume (26th) rounded out the scoring for the Mules.
The junior varsity team also had an excellent day, finishing 3rd overall in their race. Ethan Chevalier (19:12), Brandon Gore (19:46), Tanner Hopkins (19:55), Nick Huss (20:05), Fisher Rowe (20:18), Charles Avery (20:29), Colin Bell (20:49), Daniel Knapp (21:50), and Austin Dazely (24:14) all posted season bests in the race.
