Boys Varsity and JV results from Portage Invitational

The Bedford boys cross country team placed 13th out of 40 teams at the Portage Invitational, and posted many personal bests on their way. Michael Greeley ran a personal best time for him and for the team's season so far, placing 35th out of 276 runners in 16:21. Brendan McClanahan followed in 67th (16:40), with Greg Lingle close on his heels with his own personal best in 71st (16:42). Jake Reame (113th) and Alex Zittleman (131st) also posted lifetime bests, finishing in 16:59 and 17:06 respectively. Noah Scheffer also posted a lifetime best in the varsity race, crossing the line in 17:24.
In the JV race, eleven Mules posted lifetime bests, including: Colin Chevalier (17:43); Steven Kraine (17:57); Justin Bennett (18:44); Brady Huber (19:19); Tanner Hopkins (19:43); Fisher Rowe (19:52); Colin Bell (19:54); Charles Avery (20:12); Lucas Jordan (20:26); Dale Davis (22:29); and Austin Dazely (22:45). Posting season bests were John Kraine (19:15); Brandon Gore (19:38); and Gavin Wilkinson (22:36).
