Boys Varsity Cross Country make 5th consecutive appearance in the State XC meet

The Bedford boys cross country team finished their season at the MHSAA State Finals Saturday, running their final race at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.
Leading the Mules was senior Colin Chevalier, who finished 146th overall in 17:07. Senior Noah Scheffer finished in 17:26 (177th), followed by freshman Collin Balla, who crossed the line in 17:36 (191st). Rounding out the scoring for the Mule Pack were senior Jake Reaume and Freshman Micah Scheffer.
This was the fifth consecutive year the Mules have qualified for the State Finals as a team and finished in 27th place.
