The Bedford cross country team placed 7th out of 14 teams in the Chet Sullwood Invitational at Ottawa Park in Toledo. Leading the way for the Mules was sophomore Alex Ortiz, who posted a personal best time of 17:05 to finish 10th overall. Sophomore Collin Balla crossed the line in 17:27 (19th overall), and junior Aidan Burns posted a personal best (17:30) to finish in 24th in the race. Senior Ryan Gore ran an aggressive race, as well, finishing 5th for Bedford and 65th overall. 

In the JV race, senior Caden Bodine led the Mules to a 4th place finish, posting a personal best time of 18:23. Other Mules to post personal bests included Josh Gagne (18:51); Damien Robinson (19:44); Ryan Prielipp (19:45); Jack Harrison (19:49); Noah Hall (19:50); Grant Yeager (22:01); Carter Miller (22:37); and Steve Stevens (24:55). The Mules compete next weekend at the Jackson Invitational in Jackson, Michigan.
