The Bedford boys cross country team placed 20th at the Jackson Invitational on September 21.
The Mule Pack was led by sophomore Alex Ortiz, who finished 80th overall in 17:28. Sophomore Collin Balla (99th in 17:46), junior Aidan Burns (108th in 17:51), senior Noah Bock (153rd in 18:25), and senior Ryan Gore (161st in 18:29) rounded out the scoring for the Mule Pack.
In the JV race, which took place on September 20, the Kicking Mules finished in 9th place, led by senior Austin DePue (19th in 18:17), sophomore Micah Scheffer (48th in 19:00), sophomore Preston Ulery (57th in 19:09), senior Patrick Dotson (77th in 19:35), and freshman Josh Gagne (119th in 20:10). Sophomore Brendan Hayter also raced well, posting Bedford's only PR for the day, crossing the line in 21:34.
