Boys XC have 7 personal bests in Portage Invitational

The Bedford boys cross country team placed 24th out of 40 teams at the Portage Invitational today. The Mules were in fine form, with five of the seven varsity runners posting lifetime bests.
Leading the way for the Mules was sophomore Collin Balla, crossed the line first for the Mules, placing 60th overall in 16:40. Sophomore Alex Ortiz (17:01), junior Aidan Burns (17:11), sophomore Micah Scheffer (17:37), and senior Jack Geisler (17:45) also posted lifetime bests today.
In the JV race, the Bedford boys placed 21st out of 36 teams. Thirteen runners posted lifetime bests in that race: Ryan Gore (18:06), Patrick Dotson (18:33), Preston Ulery (18:45), Jack Harrison (19:27), Ryan Prielipp (19:28), Damien Robinson (19:31), Anthony Kruszka (19:59), Austin Spohler (20:11), Spencer Lingle (21:36), Miles Przybylski (22:14), Carter Miller (22:23), Kaden Rarrick (22:59), and Steve Stevens (23:42). The Mule Pack competes at the Dave Bork Classic at Munson Park in Monroe on October 12.
