Boys Varsity Cross Country takes 4th in Regional Meet

The Bedford boys cross country team ended its season with a 4th place finish at the Regional Meet for Region 5 at Lake Erie Metropark. Leading the way for Bedford was sophomore Collin Balla, who crossed the line 22nd overall in 17:06. Sophomore Micah Scheffer finished 27th overall in a personal best time of 17:15. Junior Aidan Burns (31st in 17:27), sophomore Alex Ortiz (32nd in 17:27), and senior Austin DePue (33rd in 17:27) rounded out the scoring for the Mules. Noah Bock (39th in 17:32) posted his season best time.
In the Post-Regional Open race, the reserve squad for Bedford posted many personal bests to end the season, including Patrick Dotson (18:28), Ryan Prielipp (19:13), Noah Hall (19:52), Austin Spohler (19:57), Spencer Lingle (20:36), Grant Yeager (21:15), Kaden Rarrick (22:16), and Steve Stevens (23:09). Colby Reaume (21:11) and Reece Thomas (22:20) posted season bests, as well.
