The Bedford boys cross country team fell to Ann Arbor Pioneer in a dual meet today at Indian Creek Park in Temperance. The strong Pioneer team swept the scoring by posting a perfect 15 points to Bedford's 47.
Junior Collin Balla led the way for Bedford, finishing 6th overall in a time of 17:08. Fellow junior Alex Ortiz was close behind, finishing 8th overall in 17:16. Aidan Burns (17:39), Josh Gagne (18:23), and Austin Spohler (18:30) rounded out the scoring for Bedford, finishing 14th, 20th, and 21st, respectively. Posting lifetime bests were senior Jack Harrison (18:43), junior Grant Yeager (19:06), freshman Gabe Bock (19:07), and junior Carter Miller (20:37).
Next week, the Mules run against Adrian at Indian Creek. Race time for the boys is 9am.
