Boys Varsity XC take 3rd and on their way to Regionals

The Bedford boys cross country team punched its ticket to the MHSAA Regional meet this past Saturday by placing 3rd in the Pre-Regional competition, hosted by Bedford at Indian Creek Park.
Leading Bedford was junior Collin Balla, who ran a season best time of 16:58 (10th place), edging out Bedford's second finisher, junior Alex Ortiz (11th place in 17:01). Senior Aidan Burns finished next for the Mules, posting a time of 17:13 and placing 15th overall. Rounding out the scoring for Bedford were sophomore Josh Gagne and junior Austin Spohler (25th and 27th, respectively).
Bedford will compete in the Region 5 race at Lake Erie Metropark in Brownstown on October 31.
