Bedford loses opener to St. Francis DeSales

In front of a large Bedford contingent, the Mules dug an early hole only to take the lead back but then found themselves chasing the Knights the rest of the game. Both defenses looked a bit rusty, but it is early.
The final was St. Francis 41 Bedford 27.
Bedford will host Trenton next week at Bedford Community Stadium.
