Bedford's Freshman volleyball team played well October 4th, taking first at the John Glenn Rocket Invitational with a record of 6-0 for the day. Scores were as follows:
Harrison: 25-8, 25-12
Edsel Ford: 25-11, 25-7
Churchill: 25-15, 25-9
Churchill: 25-19, 25-21
Dexter: 25-11, 26-24
Franklin: 25-17, 25-20
Mackenzie Fuleky led the team offensively with 28 of Bedford's 104 kills, followed by Koryn King with 20. Koryn also led the team defensively with 29 digs, followed by Ali Cousino with 26. Bedford had a total of 126 digs. Olivia Scally and Morgan Gladieux set well through out the tournament. Bedford's current record is now 36-5-6.
