Bedford's Freshman volleyball team took 2nd today, losing to Romeo in the finals at the MI Elite tournament. Scores were as follows:
A.A. Gabriel Richard: 25-12, 25-19, 25-10
Romeo: 16-25, 25-21, 25-23
Mercy: 22-25, 25-20, 15-12
Dakota: 25-16, 13-25, 15-13
Romeo: 25-13, 20-15, 13-5
Bedford had 91 kills led by Kylie Schroeder with 20 and Kerragan Gandee wth 19. Kaitlin Hennessey and Kylie Schroeder led defensively, each with 41 of Bedford's 190 digs. Bedford's record is now 27-8.
