The Bedford Girls Junior Varsity soccer team suffered an 8-0 setback at Saline on Thursday night.
Freshman goalkeeper Kassidy Kloepfer made 12 saves in the first half as Bedford fell behind 5-0. The host Hornets scored three goals in the second with the last one coming on a penalty kick.
The JV team, in conjunction with the varsity squad, will host the Bedford Memorial Tournament this Saturday. The Kicking Mules will play three matches during the day.
