Bedford Freshman baseball started the season on a winning note taking a doubleheader from St. Clair Shores Lakeview 12-2 in 5 innings and 16-4 in 5 innings.

Ty Kirk pitched well in the first game picking up the win. Connor Laskey went 3-3 with 3 singles, a walk, 2 runs and 1 RBI. Niko Schmieder was 2-3 with a single and a home run. Brendan Hammer scored 4 runs.

Liam Brush earned the win in the second game. Brush also went 3-4 with 3 singles, 3 runs and 2 RBI's. Ethan Gruhler was 3-4 with a single, 2 doubles, 2 runs and 2 RBI's. Brendan Hammer was 2-4 with 2 singles, 1 run and 3 RBI's.
