Bedford Freshman Baseball swept a double header against the Panthers of Whitmer High School 9-0 in the first game and 4-3 in the second game.
Liam Brush picked up the pitching win in the first game going 6 strong innings and striking out 6. Brendan Hammer came in the 7th inning to close the game out. Ty Kirk went 2-3 with 2 singles, a hit by pitch and 3 runs. Brady Pridgeon and Connor Laskey both went 2-3 with 2 singles and a run scored. Niko Schmieder hit a home run.
Noah Krauss earned the win in the second game striking out 4. Brady Pridgeon finished the game in relief to secure the win. Niko Schmieder went 2-3 with a single and a double. Brady Pridgeon had a double, scored a run and an RBI. Brayden Powell had a single and an RBI.
