Bedford freshman baseball won both games of the DH against Tecumseh 9-2 and 11-4.
Hunter Poignon pitched well in the first game picking up the victory only allowing 3 hits while striking out 8. Charlie Schmieder went 3-3 with 3 singles and an RBI. Joe Nocella and Ryan Schlagheck both went 2-3 with 2 singles and scored a run.
Eli Elder earned the victory in the second game striking out 6. Ty Zapadka was 2-2 with a single, double, BB, 3 runs and an RBI. Charlie Schmieder went 2-2 with 2 singles, scored a run and had 3 RBI’s.
