Bedford freshman baseball started the season on a winning note taking a doubleheader from Whitmer 23-1 in 5 innings and 14-11 in 10 innings.
Cade McNamara earned the pitching win in the first game striking out 10. Jack Decker went 4-5 with 4 singles, 3 runs and 2RBI’s. Jace Bloomer was 3-3 with 3 singles, 2 BB, 5 runs and 1RBI.
In the second game Tyson Bert picked up the win striking out 8. 10 different players collected a hit. Quindan Labadie drove in 3 runs and Taylor Burgermeister drove in 2.
