BOWLING GREEN HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Bedford freshman baseball took a doubleheader against Bowling Green with a walk off single by Jace Bloomer in the bottom of the 8th inning in the first game winning 9-8 and an offensive explosion in the second game 11-1 with 17 hits.
Carter Ryan came in relief to pick up the win in the first game. Ryan also was 3-5 with 3 singles, 2 runs and an RBI. Jake Yeager and Josh Beauregard-Knittle both were 2-4.
Cade McNamara was the winning pitcher in the second game with 8 strikeouts. McNamara also went 4-4 with 3 doubles, a single, 2 runs and 2 RBI’s. Andrew Kuebbeler went 3-3 with 3 singles, scored a run and an RBI.
