The girls’ cross country team finished their season in Dexter on Saturday.
The team faced strong competitors and took 12th place out 18 teams. Earning medals for finishing in the top 100 for the Varsity race were Alli Smith, Baylee Canning, and Brianna Pauli. Makayla Orner, Jillian Falzone, Elizabeth Chang, and Brooke Flowers all just missed the top 100.
In the 7th grade Reserve race, Dayna Dec took 5th place out of 92 runners and Abby Anderson took 31st.
Every girl on the team ran a personal best time on the last race, the second to last race, or came very close. Congratulations on a great season!
