Bedford Varsity girls tennis defeated Milan,
6-2 in their home opener on Wednesday April 1st. This was the Lady Mules first dual match of the season.
Number 1 singles Marisa Eide (senior) played a very strong match with few errors, resulting in a 6-1, 6-1 win.
Playing her first Varsity match up from JV was Caitlin Stieber with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at 4 singles.
Kendra Fraley (sophomore) and Nicole Dixon (senior) at 2 doubles, and Makenna McNutt (sophomore) and Marissa Teall-Olla (junior) at 4 doubles all played steadily, earning wins in their flights.
Other highlights included a first Varisty-level dual match win at 2 singles by Shaina Shah (freshman) 6-2, 6-3, and a 3 singles win by Madison Mravec (7-6, 6-2).
A great start to the season!
