Bedford Varsity football falls to Sterling Heights Stevenson

STERLING HEIGHTS STEVENSON: 33
The Mules traveled to Sterling Heights Stevenson and battled hard but was unable to hold the Stevenson offense in check. The game was tied at the half but the Titans broke open the scoring in the third going up 27-14. Bedford added some costly penalties and turnovers to help the Titans. Each team added one more TD with a final score of 33-21 in favor of the Titans.
Leading the way for the Mules were: Christian Brown, carried 18 times for 140 yards, including a 16-yard TD Austin Malabanan tallied 19 carries for 107 yards, with a 2-yard touchdown and Anthony Pisanti added 20-yard run for a TD.
Bedford will host Toledo St. Francis at Bedford Community Stadium next Friday. Come out and enjoy the game!
