The Varsity Swim and Dive swam against Saline on Thursday at home.
The final score was Bedford 75: Saline 111.

The Mules won the 200 Medley Relay and the 400 Free relay as well as Thomas Zoldowski was first in both the 200 IM and the 100 Backstroke. 
Micah Scheffer was first in the 100 Butterfly.

Over the weekend, at Calvin College, 10 Mules swam at the MISCA meet.  The team swam really well! MISCA is a qualification meet meaning the athletes had to meet certain times to be able to participate. The time is similar to Division 3 state cuts. 

The 200 Medley Relay of Thomas Zoldowski, Alex Sancrant, Micah Scheffer and Ian Metter  had a personal best and finished 2nd over all from a field of about 5o teams. 
The 400 Freestyle Relay also swam well (Jeffery Pauli, Micah Scheffer, Ian Metter, Thomas Zoldowski) they had a season pr and placed 3rd overall.

Thomas Zoldowski posted the teams best places as an individual. He was 2nd in the 200 IM and 100 Backstroke

Ian Metter placed 5th in the 50 free and 6th in the 100 free. He had an outstanding meet with big drops in his personal bests. 
Micah Scheffer had a solid meet finishing 6th in the 50 and 5th in the 100 free out of a field of over 80 swimmers in those events.  
Alex Sancrant (100 Breaststroke) Luke Warnke (100 Fly) and Nick Zoldowski (100 Backstroke) posted times equivalent to their qualifications. 
Sophomore Ethan Tennant had very nice drops in time in the 200 IM and 500 Freestyle. He is getting very close to state qualification in those events. 
The 200 Freestyle Relay of Jeffery Pauli, Luke Warnke, Joey Travis, and Gavin Guenther posted a personal best as a relay also.
