Bedford Girls Swim and Dive had an excellent showing at SECs this past weekend. Though we did not get to compete face to face with the entire Red division, we were given an opportunity to swim fast at Lincoln.  They ran the meet well and brought a lot of energy to the smaller meet. 
 
Bedford had about 90% personal or seasonal bests at this meet. 
To Start the meet off, the Medley relay of Alexa Fuleky, Ava Bell, Gabby Pisanti and Hannah Smith qualified to compete at the State Competition. 
Alexa Fuleky had an individual qualification in the 100 Backstroke and Ava Bell was able to qualify in her 2nd individual race, the 100 Breaststroke. 

This brings our State Qualifiers to 4 Girls, all Sophomores and Freshmen... so the future is bright. 

Also, doing a great job at SECs was Sophomore Libby Boisselle who dove at her first ever SEC meet and qualified to compete at Regionals in a week or so. She is only the 3rd diver to ever compete for the Bedford girls at the Regional level. 

We are trying to extend our entire season with a SMISL meet in the near future, to try to compete even faster. Covid situations across the state are making this a challenge, but we are blessed to have so many people working to make this happen.
