Bedford's Varsity Swim and Dive had an outstanding day of competition and Personal bests. We had 92% personal bests in our individual races and came away with two more State Relay qualifications, and two Individual qualifications. 

The Bedford Team of  Ava Bell, Alexa Fuleky, Gabby Pisanti and Hannah Smith Qualified in the 200 Free and 400 Free Relays for States as well as winning the event at the SMISL meet. 

Sophomore Ava Bell added a 3rd individual qualification in the 100 Butterfly where she finished 2nd in the meet. 

Sophomore and first year diver, Libby Boisselle performed well at the regional dive meet on Thursday and is now the 2nd Female diver in Bedford History to qualify to dive at the State competition next weekend. 

Here are some Honorable Mentions/place finishers from SMISL meet where Bedford competed against Pontiac Notre Dame Prep, Detroit Country Day, and Adrian Public:

Hannah Smith- 2nd in the 200 and 100 Freestyles
Ava Bell- 2nd 100 Fly*, and 5th in 50 free
Alexa Fuleky- 1st 100 Backstroke with state qualification, and 4th in the 50 Free
Libby Boisselle- was SMISL Champ in Diving.
Jennifer Dobson- Amazing 2nd Place finish in 100 Breastroke.

The State Qualifiers are hoping to be able to compete next Friday and Saturday in Grand Rapids Northview.
