Bedford wins battle over Monroe for the District title

Bedford hosted the District this year and found that home is a good place for a title win. Bedford defeated Monroe just a couple weeks ago in three straight but this time Monroe proved to be on a mission.
Bedford did start the night off by winning the first set and then Monroe took set 2. Bedford rounded the evening by winning the next two and was awarded the District title and a trip to the Regional semi final at Howell on Now 12 at 7:30.
Scores were: Bedford 25-17, Monroe 25-17, Bedford 27-25 and Bedford 25-20
Bedford will face the winner of the District 17 final between Saline and Ann Arbor Skyline. Either opponent will prove to be a challenge.
