Bedford's Freshman volleyball battled hard all day today to take first at the Novi tournament. Bedford went 5-0-1 and scores for the day were as follows:

Anchor Bay: 19-25, 25-22 (S)
Stevenson: 25-17, 25-19 (W)
Oxford: 27-26, 25-22 (W)
South Lyon: 26-24, 27-29, 15-7 (W)
Pickney: 25-21, 13-25, 18-16 (W)
Hartland: 25-16, 24-26, 15-4 (W)

Jayda Copciac led the team in kills with 19 of Bedford's 97, followed by Jessica Steinman with 13. Makenna Wilki also hit well with 12 kills and went .367 for the day. Defensively, the team had 219 digs led by Jayda Copciac with 39 and Britney Deiley with 30. Bedford's overall record is now 25-4-2.
