Freshman ladies go 2-1 in Monroe Quad

Bedford's freshman volleyball team when 2-1 last night at the Monroe Quad, defeating both SMCC and Airport and taking a hard fought loss to Monroe. Scores were as follows:
SMCC: 25-20, 25-18
Airport: 25-6, 25-23
Monroe: 25-27, 18-25
Bedford had 42 kills led by Britney Deiley and Jessica Steinman with 5 apiece. Jayda Copciac and Layla Thomas led the team defensively, each with 9 digs. The freshman team now has a record of 34-4-5.
