The boys cross country team took first place on Wednesday in the first SEC league meet of the season.  They beat every other team in our league to capture the championship for the Broncos.  

The team was led by Ty Smith who crushed everyone to finish as individual champion!  Almost everyone on the team ran best times of the season on the incredibly fast course.  7th graders Micah Scheffer and Collin Balla finished as the top two 7th graders in the league.  Others who ran well were 8th grader Spencer Lingle, and 7th graders Preston Manard, Daniel Stieber, Parker Marsh, Preston Ulery, Grant Yeager, Isaiah McGee, and Brayden Powell.  All of those guys ran over a minute faster than their previous best time.  Amazing job guys!  

The boys would also like to congratulate the girls team for their SEC championship as well. 

The cross country girls had a big win last night in their first SEC conference with contributions from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.  Bedford won decisively by 23 points.  Belle Easton, Molly Koviak, and Olivia Kruk all were top ten finishers among 112 runners.  Also scoring for the team were Maddy Heinrichs, Macy Miscikowski, and Cali Mitchey.  Congratulations to all of our runners on a great win.
