The Bedford junior high boys cross country team won the Dave Bork Invitational in Monroe on Saturday easily outscoring the other 7 teams at the meet.  They were once again led by the unstoppable Ty Smith who won his 6th meet in a row with a personal best time.  Aidan Burns and Zac Baughman ran great races to finish in the top 5.  16 of the boys ran best times of the season.  Daniel Steiber, Parker Marsh, Nathan Riester, Kevin Payne, Jack Harrison, Preston Ulery, Ethan Gartee, Grant Yeager, Noah Hall, Spencer Lingle, Brayden Powell, Colby Reaume, and Sam Travis all finished with career best races.  The boys have one more meet left next Saturday at the Michigan Mega Jamboree.  Good luck boys!  

The cross country girls showed no signs of fading toward the end of the season with a strong showing at the Dave Bork Classic on Saturday. Bedford dominated the field of 96 runners with a first place finish by Belle Easton, a fourth place finish by Molly Koviack, a ninth and tenth place finish by Olivia Kruk and Maddy Heinrichs, and a fifteenth place finish by Macy Miscikowski. Leah Driehorst PR'd again, with other significant PR's coming from Abby Klawonn, Carley Kish, and Morgan Decker. The team will finish it's season at the Mega Jamboree this Saturday.
