After a scoreless first period, Dexter scored twice in the second period. Bedford made it 2-1 on a Cole Mason power play goal early in the third period to give the Mules hope for a comeback. With the Mules' goalkeeper pulled in the last minute for an extra attacker, the Dreadnaughts foiled the plan with a pair of empty net goals to make the final 4-1.
