Early goals by Davis Molnar and Lukas Stevens gave Bedford thoughts of a runaway game. That didn't happen. Both teams scored a pair of power play goals to make it interesting. Jared Wagenhauser scored twice and Tyler Lanz had the other Mule goal. The second period ended with Bedford ahead 3-2. The Mules finally achieved a more comfortable three goal lead with around five minutes remaining.
