The Mules and Sylvania Northview alternated goals throughout the game, and Jimmy Fuleky's power play score with 21 seconds remaining created a 3-3 tie before a big crowd for both teams. Joey Nagle scored the other two Bedford goals, each time bringing a one goal deficit back into a tie. Jack Smalley had a busy night between the pipes, turning back 35 of the Wildcats' 38 shots, which included stopping a Northview penalty shot.
