Power plays backfired on the Mules in their SEC game against Ann Arbor Skyline. The Eagles tallied three shorthanded goals on their way to a 6-2 victory. Skyline outshot Bedford 50-26. Darren Common scored both Mule goals in the second period. Each of his goals tied the game, only to see the Eagles put the game out of reach with three unanswered third period goals.
