Just as in last year's game, St. John's significantly outshot Bedford - 40-15 this time, but the Mules outscored the Titans to earn a hard-fought 2-1 victory. With overtime in sight, Luke Stevens scored the game winner with 95 seconds remaining in regulation to break the tie. Cole Mason netted the first Bedford goal just 6 seconds prior to the first intermission on a power play. The lone Titan goal also came on a power play early in the third period. Garrett Gueldenzoph turned away 39 St. John's shots on goal.
