Mules Lose: 0 - 0
The Bedford JV Volleyball team ended their season yesterday with a win defeating Lincoln 25-13, 25-8 and 15-7. The final record for the 2015 season was 50-8-3.
Defensively, Erica Woodson led the team with 11 digs, Bree Long had 10 digs and Katrina Reynolds had 8 digs. At the net Joella Griner led the team in kills with 6 kills. Koryn King had 5 kills and Paige Anstine had 4 kills and 10 service points.
Congrats on a terrific season. GO MULES!!

The Bedford JV Volleyball team took home the trophy at the Ann Arbor Pioneer tournament today, going 5-0. Here are the scores:
Pool Play:
New Boston Huron 25-11, 25-6
Skyline 25-15, 25-17
South Lyon 25-23, 25-15
Semi-Finals:
Skyline 25-19, 25-10
Finals:
South Lyon 25-17, 25-21
Setters Levi Lennard and Morgan Gladiuex played well for the Mules, with a total of 84 assists for the day. Defensively, the team had 266 digs. Bree Long led the team with 61 digs and Paige Anstine had 45 digs . At the net Koryn King (23 kills, 24 service points), Joella Griner (22 kills, 4 blocks) and Paige Anstine (22 kills) led the team in kills. The team is now 49-8-3. Their last game of the season is Tuesday, October 27th at home vs. Lincoln. Let's GO MULES!!

The Bedford JV Volleyball team defeated Monroe tonight 25-15, 25-17 and 15-7.
Defensively, the team had 64 digs. Bree Long led the team with 13 digs and Erica Woodson had 11 digs and 8 service points. Joella Griner (5 kills) and Koryn King (5 kills, 13 service points) led the team at the net out of the team's 20 kills for the night.
The team is now 44-8-3. GO MULES!!
JV Volleyball takes 2nd in Novi Invitational

The Bedford JV Volleyball team was runner up at the Novi JV Volleyball tournament. They went 3-0 in pool play playing them in the Gold Playoffs, but fell short to Lake Orion in the finals 24-26, 21-25. Here are the scores and stats.
Pool Play:
Stoney Creek 25-21, 25-15
Novi 24-26, 25-20, 25-18
Brighton 25-20, 25-20
Semi - Finals: Marian 25-22, 25-27
Finals: Lake Orion 24-26, 21-25
The team had a great day defensively with a total of 402 digs. Bree Long led the team with 109 digs (34 service points). At the net, Joella Griner led the team in kills with 29 kills(4 blocks) and Koryn King had 28 kills and 76 digs for the day. Setter Levi Lennard had 88 assists for the day. The team is now 43-8-3. GO MULES!! Come out and support the Bedford Volleyball Program and Volley for the Cure night this Tuesday, October 20th.

The Bedford JV Volleyball team defeated Skyline tonight in league action 21-25, 25-18, 25-20.
Defensively, Bree Long led the team with 26 digs (10 service points) and Koyrn King had 20 digs. At the net, Hannah Wilke and Koryn King each had 5 kills of the team's 21 total kills. Setter Levi Lennard had 21 assists. The team is now 39-7-3.

JV Volleyball takes crown at Clio Invitational

On Saturday this weekend, the Bedford JV Volleyball team traveled to Clio, MI for a tournament and were the Champions beating Mercy in the finals. It was a hard fought match with the scores being 25-21, 26-28 and 15-13.
Defensively, the team had 376 digs with Bree Long leading the way with 101 digs, Koryn King 83 digs and Katrina Reynolds with 52 digs. Offensively, we had a team total of 114 kills. Koryn King (33 kills), Joella Griner (32 kills and 10 blocks) and Paige Ainstine led the team at the net . Setter Levi Lennard had 94 assists and 40 service points. Hailey Walling also played well at the net with 6 blocks.
The team is now 38-7-3. GO MULES!!

Last night the Bedford JV Volleyball team traveled to Airport High school for a quad match with Airport, SMCC and Monroe. Bedford went 2-1 for the night.
Defensively, the team had 200 digs with Bree Long leading the way with 70 digs. At the net, we had a team total of 69 kills. Koryn King led the team with 27 kills. Setter Levi Lennard had 50 assists and 19 service points. The team is now 32-7-3 and travel this weekend to Clio, MI for a tournament. GO MULES!!

Last night the JV Volleyball team defeated Ann Arbor Pioneer 25-19, 25-16 and 15-9. The girls embraced each other and played for one of their team members yesterday.
Defensively the team had 53 digs and leading the team was Bree Long with 17 digs. Leading the team with kills was Koryn King with 7 kills, Paige Anstine 4 kills and both middles - Joella Griner and Hannah Wilke each had 3 kills.
The team is now 30-6-3!!

Today the JV Volleyball team traveled north to play at the Marian tournament. It was a tough tournament with many top ranked teams in the state. We went 1-2 in pool play and then lost to Novi in the quarterfinals. Here are the scores and the stats.

Walled Lake Central 25-17, 25-9
Quarterfinals lost to Novi 18-25, 19-25
Defensively the team had 222 digs for the day and 65 kills. Leading the team was Koryn King with 19 kills, 20 service points and 39 digs. Also, strong at the net was Hannah Wilke with 12 kills Taylor Weirich with 10 kills. Bree Long had 59 digs and Katrina Reynolds had 39 digs.
The team is now 29-6-3!!

Last night the JV Volleyball team was in league action and lost to Saline Ann Arbor 23-25, 20-25 and 10-15.
The team had a total of 17 kills and 5 digs. Leading the team offensively was Paige Anstine (5 kills), Taylor Weirich (5 kills and 3 blocks) and Koryn King with 4 kills and 1 block. Defensively, Bree Long had 14 digs and Koryn King had 11 digs.
The team is now 28-3-3!!

The team had a total of 22 kills and 35 digs. Leading the team in kills was Koryn King and Taylor Weirich, each with 6 kills. Defensively, Koryn King had 9 digs and Katrina Reynolds had 7 digs. Morgan Glaudieux and Bree Long served well for the Mules.
The team is now 28-2-3!!

Over the weekend, the JV Volleyball team traveled to Howell, MI for a tournament. They went 3-0 in pool play but lost a hard fought match with Fr. Gabriel Richard in Semi-finals.

Semi's vs. Fr. Gabriel Richard 25-16, 18-25, 12-15
The team had a total of 80 kills and leading the team was Joella Griner with 22 kills and Koryn King with 17 kills. Defensively, the team had a total of 202 digs. Bree Long led the team with 51 digs and Katrina Reynolds had 30 digs.
The team is now 27-2-3!!

Last night Bedford JV volleyball defeated Chelsea 26-24, 25-18 and 15-7.
Leading the team in kills was Joella Griner with 4 kills and Taylor Weirich with 4 kills and 1 solo block.
Defensively, the team had a total of 55 digs. Bree Long led the team with 12 digs and Paige Anstine had 9 digs. We travel to Howell, MI for a tournament on Saturday.
The team is now 24-1-3!!

Leading the team in kills was Koryn King with 17 kills and Joella Griner with 11 kills and 3 block solos.
Defensively, Bree Long led the team with 36 digs and and Erica Woodson had 26 digs.

The Bedford JV volleyball team were champions today winning the Ann Arbor Huron JV Invitational.
In pool play, they defeated Plymouth 25-14, 25-15, Cabrini 25-4, 25-1 and split with Lapeer 13-25, 25-13.
Quarterfinals defeated Ann Arbor Huron 25-18 and 25-10.
Semi-finals defeated South Lyon 25-21 and 25-12.
Finals defeated St. John's 25-18 and 25-20.
Leading the team in kills was Joella Griner with 20 kills/5 blocks and Koryn King with 20 kills/38 digs.
Defensively, Bree Long led the team with 73 digs and 35 serving points.
Morgan Gladieux (39 serving points/37 assists) and Levi Lennard 32 serving points/27 assists played well too.
The team is now 16-0-2!!

The Bedford JV volleyball team were champions today winning the Gibraltar Carlson JV Invitational.
In pool play, they defeated Grosse Ille 25-11, 25-21..... Trenton 25-15, 25-6 and John Glenn 25-13, 25-11.
Quarterfinals defeated Southgate 25-11 and 25-11.
Semi-finals defeated Churchill 25-9 and 25-15.
Finals defeated AA Skyline 25-18 and 25-19
Leading the team in kills was Joella Griner with 25 kills and Koryn King with 17 kills.
Defensively, Bree Long led the team with 42 digs and Katrina Reynolds had 31 digs.
Morgan Gladieux served well the whole day with 45 points (16 aces).
The team is now 11-0-1!!!

The Bedford JV volleyball team opened its 2015 season yesterday (8/21) winning the Adrian JV Invitational.
In pool play, they defeated Napoleon 25-10, 25-6 and Clinton 25-6, 25-9 and split with Lumen Christi 21-25, 25-11.
Quarterfinals defeated Carlson 25-13 and 25-7.
Semi-finals defeated Jonesville 25-20 and 25-21.
Final defeated Adrian 25-20 and 25-18
At the net, Joella Griner led the team with 22 kills, 5 blocks and Taylor Weirich had 16 kills, 5 block.
Defensively, Bree Long led the team with 61 digs and 38 service points.
It was a great team effort with a 5-0-1 start to the season.
