Mules Win: 7 - 1
Bedford brought Riverview to the courts of Bedford and played some of their best tennis so far and came away with a 7-1 win.
Singles and doubles players stepped up their play even in the one loss.
Bedford travels to Grosse Ile, Sept 19. Hopefully their good play will continue.
Varsity Tennis shut out but battle in loss to Huron

Mules Lose: 0 - 8
Bedford is improving and much of it has to do with playing the caliber of teams like AA Huron. Huron defeated the Mules 8-0.
Sajan Shah playing #2 singles lost a tough three set match after winning first set in tiebreaker 7-5, lost second set 4-6, then played 10 pt tiebreaker instead third set and lost 4-10. Shah played fantastic against a very good player from a top ranked team.
The boys face Riverview on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at Bedford.

Mules Lose: 0 - 8
Bedford has always struggled with the Ann Arbor area schools in tennis. The Boys this year are in the same boat. Skyline defeated them 8-0 but even in that defeat the Mules have continued to get better with every match they have.

Boys Tennis battle but defeated by Monroe

Mules Lose: 3 - 5
Bedford is coming close but they lost in a valiant effort against Monroe. #3 singles Jaden Turner won in straight sets 6-1,6-1. #4 singles Pete Dillon also won in straight sets 6-3,6-1.
In doubles Blake Bansek & Tyler Ripple won 6-3, 6-3.
We lost two 3rd set tiebreakers that could have swung the match in our favor but just missed winning those.

Mules Lose: 3 - 5
Bedford Varsity tennis lost a tough match to Chelsea 3-5. Winning at #1 singles Jacob Nelson with a tough three setter 4-6,6-4,6-1. Our #3 singles Jaden Turner won his match 6-1 , 6-3 and the #2 doubles team came through with a solid 2 set win 6-3,6-4.
We lost all jv matches but played very competitively on all flights.

Mules Lose: 1 - 7
Bedford brought the Dreadnaughts to the Bedford courts on Thursday. Ann Arbor area schools have very strong tennis programs and Bedford while losing 1-7, gave Dexter all they could handle.
#3 singles Jaden Turner won in straight sets 6-4,6-1. We lost 3 tough 3 setters , #4 singles Pete Dillon lost, 6-4, 4-6, 2-6; #1 doubles Brandon Koenemann and Tyler Krupp lost 6-4, 3-6, 0-6; #2 doubles Arpan Patel and Brenden VanHorn lost 6-3,4-6,4-6. This was a very competitive match against quality Ann Arbor area school
The JV team did not get a point but the doubles team of Niko Schmeider and Donovan VanHorn won 8-5

Lost to Saline last night in brutally hot match, 8-0
#1 doubles of Brandon Koeneman and Tyler Krupp played well in tough loss 6-3, 6-3. Jaden Turner at #3 singles played tough yet lost 6-3, 6-2.
Bedford will host Dexter in SEC play on Thursday Sept 6th.

Mules Win: 8 - 0
Boys Varsity tennis shutout Ypsilanti, 8-0 on Monday at Ypsilanti.
The Mules managed to win all games besides 2 setbacks during the entire match.

Varsity Tennis wins Southgate Anderson Classic

Mules Win: 3 - 0
Bedford took part in the Southgate Classic and came away with the championship.
There were 8 teams. Bedford scored 18 points over 2nd place Crestwood 15 points.
All of Bedford's flights scored. #3 singles champ Jaden Turner, #4 singles champ Pete Dillon and #3 doubles champ Blake Bansek and Tyler Ripple. It was great team effort today

Mules Win: 7 - 1
Bedford hosted Lincoln in a morning match today. Bedford defeated the Railsplitters 7-1.
Playing well were for the Mules were Sajan Shah #2 singles and Jaden Turner as neither lost a set.
#2 doubles Brenden Van Horn and Arpan Patel won 6-1, 6-0.
Boys Varsity Tennis at Woodhaven tourney

Mules Lose: 0 - 0
Bedford took part in the Woodhaven tourney on Saturday 8/18.
The Mules took 6th place finish overall out of 8. The strong field tourney was won by Walled Lake Northern.
Pete Dillon took third at #4 singles, he went 2-1 on the day
Jaden Turner was consolation bracket champ at #3 singles, Jaden also went 2-1 on the day
Brandon Koenemann and Tyler Krupp, #1 doubles took third on the day going 2-1
