MHSAA Regional Golf at Washtenaw Golf Club

Mules Lose: -
Wednesday Oct. 5th the Bedford Girls Golf team was in action at the 2016 MHSAA Regional Championship played at the Washtenaw Golf Club in Ypsilanti Michigan.
It was a gallant effort put forth by the Lady Mules, however, it wasn't enough to move forward in the tournament. This was out last event of the season and we end with a record of 6 wins and 5 loses.
Bedford finished in 9th place with Saline & Novi tied for first and Plymouth in third for the teams to advance.
We return 17 of the 18 golfers that came out this year which is promising for the future of the program.

Girls Golf results from Monroe County Championships

The Bedford Girls Golf Team competed in the Monroe County Girls Golf Championship and finished in the runner-up position to New Boston Huron (350) with a team score of 377. The girls continued to lower their team ave score with Kaitlin Kochendorfer leading the way with a low score of 88 which placed her in a two way tie for third place on the medal podium.

Medalist for First Team and Second team All-Monroe County honors were:
First team- Kaitlin Kochendorfer (88), Riley Sullivan (92)
Second Team - Lauren Csurgo (98), Caitlin Steiber (99)
The Lady Kicking Mules will be in action Wednesday at the Regional Tournament at Washtenaw Polo Golf Club.
SEC golf championship results from Calderone Golf Club

Mules Lose: 0 - 0
The girls golf team was in action yesterday at Calderone Golf Club in the SEC Championships and placed 4th in the league with a 389.
Leading the way for the Lady Mules was Lauren with a 95 for 18 holes. Her score was low enough to place her on the medalist podium in a three way tie for 10th place. Others playing well were Kaitlin K. (97), Riley (98), Emma (99).
The girls finished 5-5 in the SEC and 6-5 over all.

Ladies took on strong Saline squad on Thursday

Mules Win: 188.00 - 157.00
Thursday the Lady Mules host a dual match with Saline and came up short 188 to 157. Leading the way for the Lady mules was Lauren with 43 strokes followed by Kaitlin K 47 and Riley 49.
Next up, the SEC Championships on Monday.

Monday the girls were back in action at Bedford Hills to play in a quad match with Saline (189), Lincoln (221), and Tecumseh (218).
Bedford (194) placed second and was lead by Lauren (43) and Emma (47).
Our record to date is 3-4.

Girls were in action in the Dick's Open 18 Hole Championship at Glenbrier Country Club in Perry, Michigan and placed 6th out of 17 teams.
Leading the way for the Lady Mules (414) was medalist Lauren Csurgo with a 93.
Bedford versus Pioneer at Lake Forest GC

On Wednesday, Bedford had a golf match with Ann Arbor Pioneer at Lake Forest GC with the outcome Bedford (188) Pioneer (174) lead golfers Lauren (42), Riley (46) and Kaitlin (46).

Monday the 29th the Girls Golf team played in the Adrian Invitational at Lenawee Country Club and placed fourth out of six teams with a team score of 422. Leading the team was Kaitlin Koechendorfer with a 97 which earned her a 4th place medal.
