The 2015-16 came to an official close last Friday during the end of year banquet. Congrats to the entire team and coaching staff on an outstanding season as league, district and regional champs and made it back to the state tournament! And for the third year in a row, this team achieved the pinnacle of academic success being named Academic All-State as a Team!

Bedford Athletics will be honoring Hunter Gandee, tonight, January 20th at the Bedford Wrestling Quad.

BCSN will be covering the contest and the event. The match begins at 5:30 PM. The ceremony will take place around 6:30 PM.

Bedford wrestling is excited to announce that captains have been selected for the 2015-2016 season. Leading the mules will be seniors Brad Cook, Brad Stewart, Tim Stevens, Gabe Elarton and Blake Montrie.

The Mules open their season next week on Wednesday, December 9th as varsity travels to Novi to face long-time rival, Detroit Catholic Central. JV will travel to Ann Arbor Huron to compete.

The start of the 2015-16 season has officially begun with practices underway starting Monday, November 16th. Wrestlers are asked to please turn in their information packets that include driving slips, pay to play forms, information sheets, etc.

There is also a spirit club meeting tonight (Monday, Nov 16th) in room 8B of the high school at 6:30pm. Although we are big fans of Bedford Wrestling, don’t let the name fool you… this is your chance as a parent, fan or friend of Bedford Wrestling to get involved with the administrative and support aspects of the wrestling program. All are welcome!
