The JV squad improved to 3 and 1 with a 32 – 6 victory over AA Huron. Jerrod Floyd took an option pitch from Luke Beadle in from 25 yards out for the Mules’ first TD. Later in the quarter, Ian Tyberski scored the first of his two TDs on the day from 22 yards out.

The defense got in on the scoring when Zach Putnam sacked the QB and caused a fumble, which Logan Santiago returned for a 60 yard TD. Floyd caught the two point conversion. David Jeffers had an interception and several solo tackles, as did Levi Elarton. Alex Pisanti, Markus Bowen and Tyberski were also standouts on the defensive side of the ball. Beadle kept on an option from 20 yards out completing the scoring late in the game.
