The JV squad finished the year 7-1-1 with a 61-6 trouncing of the Jefferson Bears on Thursday at Grogan Towne’s Field.  

Eight different players scored TDs for the Mules!  The offensive line, led by Jacob Curtis, Trevor Carr, Sawyer Beard, Parker Eason and Drew Nelson, dominated from the very start of the game.  Ian Tyberski scored on a 70 yard run on the second play of the game behind key blocks by Nelson, Eason and Seth Dolan.  Markus Bowen and Ben German contributed several big blocks as the Mules ground game trampled the Bears.  Gabe Caris, Jerod Floyd, Brady Nowak, Jacob Herbster, Seth Dolan, & Luke Beadle all scored  touchdowns with David Jeffers scoring twice.  Bryce Krimmel converted 6 out of 8 PATs.  

The defense overcame a slow start but stifled the Bears after the first quarter.  Krimmel, Zach Putnam, Seth Handy, Levi Elarton, Logan Santiago, and Herbster all recorded tackles for loss or sacks.  Jeffers broke up two passes, returned a punt 70 yards and had several big hits.  Bowen also had three big sticks on defense.
