Bedford boys tennis repeated as champs in Southgate invitational Friday by winning 21 of possible 24 points. Bedford won 5 of 8 flights and came in 2nd for other 3 flights.
Noah Kaplan, Sajan Shah, and Arpan Patel all won their fights in singles while winning all in straight sets. Jaden Turner took 2nd losing to tough opponent from Airport. Doubles action had Tyler Krupp and Niko Schneider winning 3 matches in straight sets to take their flight while Blaise Volpi and James Rupli did as well. Doubles 2nd place finishers had Brady Pridgeon with Alex Birmingham going 2-1 for the day as did Noah Jankowski and Braeden Burmeister.
A great day for tennis in Southgate for Bedford.
