Varsity Tennis ends regular season with convincing win over Airport

Bedford boys tennis was on a 3 match winning streak coming into the regular season finale against Airport and the streak is now 4. Momentum is valuable heading into regional play. Bedford finished the regular season with a 9-5 head to head record. All losses coming at the hands of top ranked programs.
Bedford defeated Airport 7-1 with the only loss to Airport #1 singles Jake Leone who has my vote for player of the year as he won 6-0,6-0. The team will now play at the Dexter regional next Thur Oct 10 to qualify for states.
