Bedford took third at regionals today held at Gibraltar Carlson HS. The team scored 11 points which qualifies the team for states for second consecutive year.
Two flights were won by Bedford in singles. Carter Ryan continued his stellar season at #4 singles and won his 3 matches all in straight sets, never giving up more than 2 games in a set Wed.
Jaxon Nejedlik has had an outstanding season so far with a 22-2 record at #1 singles by winning his flight today as well. Ty Zapadka and Vince Cole also won matches in singles today as well. Doubles came thru for the team also with three of four doubles flights recording a win to contribute to the team total.
It was a great team effort by all to get qualified for states with a very young team if 8 first yr players.
